If you had the chance to see what's left of a bombed-down mansion that once belonged to the biggest drug dealer in the world, would you do it? Now, if somebody told you you could also paintball there, is that too far? Or just a once-in-a-lifetime epic adventure? While in Colombia, it was hard to resist such an experience, so even though the mansion was partly burned down by a rival drug gang, seeing what's left of it today felt like a must. However, his bedroom has apparently been completely closed off to the public, so I guess we'll see if we can sneak our way in. Pablo Escobar's Abandoned Mansion. All right, so this is one of Escobar's properties. This is like, that was one of his getaway spots. He would come here and party. It was built in 1985 and it's named after his daughter. Lemon, why not? Yeah. Pablo Escobar's bodyguards would stay here and his room was up there along with his daughters, which is where that tree is. Los Peppos, who were the rival drug gang, came here, I think he said what, 1993? Yeah. And burned it down. They were looking for him and they didn't find him here, but they burned everything down. (SNUCK INSIDE THE HOUSE) It's mostly just ruins. This was burnt down, his house was burnt down. The main area up there that we're going to paintball in later was bombed. Yeah, it's all kind of in ruins, but. Isn't it eerie to walk around here? I don't know. I've never like felt like that in an abandoned place, but just because of the history of who owned it, just know that went down here. I'm getting chills. I think this is the basement. We might have found the basement. Oh my god. I found the coke, the money, the whores. It's very muddy. It's just covered in mud and rocks. Wow. This is crazy. Almost fell. trying to look up. (SNEAKING UP TOWARDS HIS ROOM) We're walking up to Pablo's room. Holy. It is chilling. It's his bathroom. Yeah. I have like, you can feel something here, man. You can see like the burn marks. This is the craziest abandoned place we've ever been to. Yeah. Oh, I don't know. I'm having this like internal struggle of, you know, we're coming to Colombia and we're making content, but like we're still talking about Escobar, which is something that they're trying to get over. But at the same time, it's such a big part of the history. So many people are curious and I think as long as we do it like in an objective way, I feel we can like really tell interesting stories from here. We're just trying to capture our experience experiencing what was Pablo's like legacy in Medellín and the towns around it. Paintball. We're getting ready for war. What is your profession? Nobody messes with Yes Theory. Forget how menacing we are. We are lions. Let's do it. Guys, guys, the people on the other team are in the Israeli army. We're about to get wrecked. I don't even know how to hold this gun. Hold on, we're just going through gameplay for two seconds. We're going to go to Guatapé now, which is like a beautiful small town in Colombia. Insane, insane view from the top after 700 stairs. You get to the top and apparently the view is crazy, so go check that out. Let's go. Oh, we're almost there. How many more steps? Almost there, right? Almost. Cool. Okay. We're about 600 of the 700 steps. How many steps? Thomas is being a little. I don't know. The most beautiful thing we're noticing about Colombia is everything around. You know, the people, uh, just how beautiful the nature and just the cities are. It's truly a place that's changing and evolving, growing out of its past. Obviously, its past is still here and people talk about it, but I have no doubt that Medellín is the future. We've just felt so much safer than what most people warn us.
